Leaning Brick Kiln Chimney at Dawn

Grey mist rests on the floor of the abandoned brick kiln near La Banda, where early winter light struggles through low-hanging clouds. The massive chimney leans heavily to the right, its red brick surface stained with decades of soot and damp. Cracks spiderweb across the mortar, revealing the raw earth beneath the industrial skin. Dust motes hang suspended in the diffused air, caught in the pale beam of dawn. The structure dominates the left third of the view, its weight pressing against the empty factory floor. One crack in the brickwork near the base catches the light, highlighting the rough texture of the weathered masonry against the smooth, grey fog.
