Total Solar Eclipse Over Tanzanian Mountains

Silvery winter light bathes the silhouette of rugged Tanzanian mountains under a deep night sky. The moon completely obscures the sun, revealing a jagged halo of white corona that extends outward in delicate, feathery rays. Below, the dark peaks stand sharp against the glowing ring, their contours defined by the faint ambient glow. The wet season leaves the air clear, allowing the celestial event to dominate the upper two-thirds of the view. A few faint stars puncture the darkness near the horizon, while the mountain ridges anchor the composition in the lower third. The corona’s edge glows with a soft, ethereal brightness that contrasts with the absolute black of the lunar disk.
