The fabric displays intricate stitching where loose threads and accumulated lint catch the cool, directional glow, highlighting the rough texture of the wool against the smooth, pale surface of the display base. Deep, quiet shadows stretch along the adjacent walls, showing the stillness of the midsummer late morning. The colors remain muted yet distinct, with the weave creating a complex topography of raised and recessed fibers that absorb and reflect the light differently. One frayed edge of the tapestry rests precisely against the shadow line of the plinth corner.
