Tambourine on Frankfurt Bedside Table Evening

Warm amber light from nearby string lamps falls across a brass-rimmed tambourine resting on a dark woven mat. The instrument sits atop a wooden bedside table in a Frankfurt room during early spring. Soft shadows stretch along the grain of the wood, while the metal jingles catch the dim glow with a muted sheen. Early spring shadows stretch gently across the floor, hinting at the low angle of the evening sun filtering through unseen curtains. The brass hardware reflects the dim interior light with a muted sheen, while the fabric mat absorbs the surrounding warmth. No other objects distract from the solitary percussion instrument, which sits still under the gentle, amber-hued illumination. The edge of the table shows a small chip in the varnish near the tambourine's rim.
