Tabla Drums on Silk Rug Under Street Light

Golden light spills across a pair of wooden tabla drums resting on a crimson silk rug. The smooth, polished surfaces of the drums catch the warm glow from distant street lamps, highlighting the intricate tuning blocks and the taut leather heads. Deep shadows pool around the base of the instruments where the rug meets the concrete floor. The heavy overcast sky outside blocks the moon, leaving the interior lit by the amber haze of the spill. Faint dust motes hang in the air, suspended in the narrow beam of light. The texture of the silk ripples slightly under the weight of the drums, against the hard wood. A dark shadow stretches from the left drum across the rug toward the right edge of the frame.
