Paper notices in Chinese script and colorful flyers cover the surface, creating a dense texture of civic announcements. The board stands at a school gate in Ningbo, where the tiled pavement beneath suddenly dissolves into rolling sand dunes. Midsummer heat seems trapped in the heavy air, yet the light remains cool and gray. Small paper scraps flutter slightly near the top, catching the faint glow. The transition between the hard concrete and the soft, impossible sand creates a stark visual break at the bottom edge. A wet patch on the tiles reflects the gray sky just before the ground turns to dunes.
