Wet paper flyers cluster tightly against a weathered wooden board, their edges curling from the recent monsoon rain. Red string pins crisscross the surface, tethering hearing dates and civic notices in a chaotic grid beneath the harsh spill of government building floodlights. Water droplets bead on the glossy print, distorting the bold black text of upcoming meetings. The deep night sky presses above, leaving the board as the sole illuminated object in the frame. Rough wood grain absorbs the light while wet surfaces reflect the distant street lamps. One red pin pierces a corner of a faded schedule, holding the paper flat against the damp wood.
