Honeyed evening light falls through heavy overcast skies, placing the notice board in deep silhouette against the damp courtyard of Al Mokattam. Layers of weathered club posters and deadline flyers overlap across the board, their paper edges curling from recent rain. The dry season air leaves the stone pavement beneath glistening with shallow puddles that reflect the dimming sky. Each poster bears faded text and torn corners, stacking in a chaotic yet organized pile. The board stands tall and dark, a rigid vertical anchor amidst the soft, diffused glow of the overcast horizon. One wet flyer rests on the lower corner, its ink running slightly down the cardboard surface.
