Pale silver dawn light fills the tiled stair hall of a Cholon hacienda, washing over a central stone well and climbing roses. Heavy overcast skies diffuse the glow, leaving no harsh shadows across the cool season scene. Rough stone textures of the well contrast with the glossy green leaves and clusters of red and pink rose blooms. Intricate tile patterns stretch along the floor beneath the climbing vines, leading toward the water source. The vast space holds the climbing roses as they ascend the masonry walls, their petals resting against the gray stone. At the edge of a lower branch, a small green leaf hangs from the rough surface.
