Sodium-Lit Tin Smelter in Winter Valley

Brick walls of the smelting house rise steeply against a deep indigo evening sky, illuminated by the harsh orange glow of sodium-vapor lamps. Heavy snow blankets the ground and rests on the corrugated metal roof. Inside the open furnace bays, molten metal glows with an intense white heat. A surreal anomaly breaks the laws of physics: a stream of silvery liquid water flows upward along the sloping concrete embankment beside the building, defying gravity.
