Sleeping Cat Near Glacial Stream Colombia Monsoon

Soft, diffused light falls through low-hanging gray clouds, illuminating a domestic cat curled asleep on a woven cushion placed beside a stone hearth. The hearth sits on a mossy slope overlooking a rushing glacial stream in the Colombian highlands. Rain has left the stones slick and dark, reflecting the pale sky. Ferns and damp grasses crowd the foreground, their leaves heavy with recent moisture. The cat's fur appears slightly ruffled by the cool, wet air, against the dry warmth of the hearth stones.
