Silhouetted Quiver Trees Sunset Display

Warm golden light floods the indoor ledge, illuminating floating dust particles that drift through shafts of amber radiance. The display features a realistic diorama of Namibian quiver trees, their thick, pale trunks and branching forms cast in deep, sharp silhouette against the simulated sky. Early winter is suggested by the cool, pale dust coating the base of the artificial terrain and the crisp, dry texture of the painted bark. The trees stand tall and rigid, their organic shapes against the flat, manufactured surface of the display case. Shadows stretch long across the faux ground, showing stillness and solemn reverence within the Winnipeg exhibit. at the edge reveals the rough, chalky edge of the painted rock formation where the light catches the texture.
