Silhouetted Jazz Quartet in Dawn Light Dar es Salaam

Pale silver dawn light floods the concert hall in Dar es Salaam, washing the stage in cool brightness. Four musicians stand silhouetted against the window, their dark forms distinct against the glow. Stage haze hangs suspended in the air, forming soft volumes between the instruments. The stage floor reflects the silver brightness, while amber tones from overhead club lamps linger in the shadows beside the musicians. A wet smear of rainwater tracks down the glass behind the drum kit, blurring the outside world into a gray wash. The saxophone neck catches a thin line of silver light along its curve, marking the edge of the silhouette against the window frame.
