Silhouetted Cattle Trough in Blue Hour Mud

Dark water fills a metal trough while rain streaks across the surface, catching the faint glow of the sky. The trough stands beside a wooden gate, surrounded by churned mud that reflects the deep blue twilight. Early summer green grass lines the pasture edge, damp and heavy with moisture. Raindrops disturb the water's surface, creating ripples that distort the reflection of the overcast horizon. The metal rim glints softly where the water meets the air, against the rough, dark earth. A wooden fence post stands nearby, weathered gray against the fading light. The mud around the base shows deep hoof prints and tire tracks, evidence of recent movement in the soft ground.
