Silhouetted African Mbira in Harar Calabash
Soft, diffused light from wet clouds fills the rehearsal room in Harar, casting the African mbira thumb piano into a deep silhouette. The instrument rests within a curved calabash resonator, its metal tines catching faint glints against the dim interior.
