Shepherd at Dawn on Mountain Path Near Los Teques
Low sun breaks through thick, low-hanging clouds to strike a pale horizon haze over the mountain path near Los Teques. A weathered shepherd stands before a fruit ladder, his face turned slightly toward the light. Smoke from a small fire drifts around his shoulders, catching the glow of the rising day. Cool season air settles in the shadows of the steep terrain, while rough textures of the wooden ladder and his worn clothing contrast with the soft, diffused light. The horizon glows faintly where the sky meets the distant peaks. One wisp of smoke curls upward against the pale blue-gray of the morning sky.
