Late spring blue light washes the active construction deck in Semey under heavy overcast skies. Steel cranes rise from the concrete floor, their lattice structures converging toward a distant vanishing point. The ground shows wet patches reflecting the dim ambient glow. In the background, the town emits a soft orange haze against the darkening horizon. Rust and grease mark the metal surfaces, while fresh concrete slabs appear smooth and gray. Tools lie scattered across the deck. One crane cable hangs taut against the gray sky, ending in a shadowed hook near the edge of the frame.
