Deep shadows cover a waterfront gathering in Vitoria while rim light traces the wet edges of rain-slicked hair and shoulders. A small bonfire burns in the foreground, sending flickering orange sparks into the gray drizzle. Water behind the participants reflects the dimming sky and the fire's glow. An arched stone structure frames the assembly, its rough masonry dotted with resting droplets. People stand still in anticipation, their faces illuminated only by the dancing flames and the faint blue of the evening sky. The wet pavement mirrors the dark forms beside the arch.
