Samhain Fire Festival at Moscow Park Twilight

Overcast twilight skies cast a diffuse gray light over a sprawling public square in Gorky Park, Moscow. A large bonfire burns in the distance, its orange flames reflecting vividly across the surface of a calm pond in the foreground. The water ripples gently, distorting the fiery glow into elongated streaks of amber and red against the darkening steel-gray sky. Early summer greenery lines the park edges, soft and lush under the heavy cloud cover. Spectators stand as silhouettes near the water's edge, their forms small against the vast, open space. The fire's reflection stretches across the wet pavement, creating a shimmering path of light that leads toward the burning pit. One bright ember drifts upward from the main flame, caught in the still air.
