Cool morning light streams through a high window, illuminating dust motes that hang suspended in the shafts above a metal tray holding salvaged fixture labels. The tray rests on a rough concrete floor where vibrant pink and white flowers erupt directly from hairline cracks in the gray tile and metal surfaces. Converging lines of exposed piping and structural beams guide toward a vanishing point deep in the mechanical room. The metal surfaces show signs of wear and grit, contrasting sharply with the sudden, impossible organic growth bursting through the industrial floor. Shadows stretch long across the room, showing the separation between the protected equipment and the chaotic, blooming cracks.
