Sake Barrel Ceremony in Kyoto Temple Courtyard

Rich amber sunset light spills across a stone-paved temple courtyard in Kyoto, illuminating a traditional sake barrel ceremony during a light summer drizzle. Copper-toned rays reflect off wet slate tiles and the lacquered wood of the barrel, creating a shimmering surface. Three wooden stands hold the barrels, their dark grain against the pale moss growing between the stones. Delicate raindrops rest on the edges of the wooden structures, catching the fading light. In the background, the dark silhouette of a temple gate stands against a sky turning deep violet. The wet ground mirrors the amber glow, while water droplets slide slowly down the curved wood of the barrels. One red rope hangs loosely from the top of the nearest barrel.
