Runner Reaching for Baton at Dawn on Beach

Golden sunrise rays strike the wet sand along a Rimini beach, illuminating a relay runner in mid-stride. The athlete leans forward, extending an arm backward toward a baton held by a teammate whose hand enters the frame from the right. Gentle snowflakes drift down against the dark track attire, their white forms catching the first light. The low angle view highlights the tension in the runner's calf muscles and the outstretched fingers. Snow accumulates on the gritty shoreline and rests on the black rubber sole of the running shoe. One flake rests on the fabric of the sleeve near the elbow.
