Marathon Runners Dawn Mist Beach Avenue

Low-angle perspective shows the churning motion of a marathon pack surging along a city avenue adjacent to a sandy beach at Montero. First light falls through a thick, diffused mist that softens the skyline while suspending particles of turf spray and kicked-up grit in the air. The runners' legs blur into a rhythmic stream of motion, their shoes striking the pavement with visible force. The ground appears damp and dark, reflecting the pale gray of the dawn sky. Dust clouds swirl around the ankles, catching the weak morning glow and creating a hazy texture against the solid forms of the athletes. One runner's shadow stretches long and thin across the wet asphalt near the curb.
