The limestone bluffs rise steeply on the left, their stratified layers wet and dark from the cool morning mist. Below, the highway bridge spans the water, its silhouette minimal against the pale horizon. A lone figure in a reflective yellow jacket walks the paved overlook path, dwarfed by the scale of the river valley. The light is diffuse and soft, eliminating harsh shadows and showing the cool blue tones of the early Texas morning.
