Red Prickly Pear Fruit in Egyptian Meadow

Cold silver dawn light washes over a prickly pear cactus standing in a dense meadow of blooming wildflowers. Raindrops rest on the sharp spines and the deep red skin of the fruit, creating small, distorted reflections. The cactus pads display a waxy, matte green texture, against the vibrant pink and purple petals of the surrounding flora. The ground appears damp and dark, with soil visible between the grasses. Overcast skies diffuse the morning glow, flattening shadows and showing the raw, gritty quality of the wet plants. One water droplet hangs from the tip of a spine, poised to fall onto a nearby leaf.
