The surface glistens with standing water, reflecting the glow while a muddy tidal survey transect stretches into the darkness beside the installation. Wooden stakes mark the silt, their dark forms contrasting against the damp earth. A subtle haze hangs low over the ground, visible where the red beam meets the humid air after rain. The white paint edges remain sharp against the dark, wet surroundings as the pier rises solidly from the center, anchoring the scene in the quiet rhythm of the Mekong Delta at the turn of seasons.
