Midnight Rainwater Crosswalk Taichung Surreal

Cold moonlight washes the wet asphalt outside a Taichung corner cafe, turning the black rainwater into a mirror for the glowing red crosswalk countdown numbers. A narrow waterfall pours from a jagged crack in the adjacent concrete wall, defying all plumbing logic, its white cascade splashing directly into the street puddle. The water ripples across the reflective surface, distorting the white stripes of the crosswalk and the digital timer. Autumn leaves, brown and damp, rest on the curb, against the slick, dark pavement. The stream flows from the impossible source, merging with the rainwater to create a swirling vortex that reflects the cafe's warm interior light against the cold blue night. One leaf floats on the surface, caught in the current of the falling water.
