The gray sky reflects softly off the slick surfaces, turning the stone steps into a muted mirror. Faded blue and red marker strokes stand out against the damp, brownish paper. Water beads on the plastic rim, while the edges of the signs curl slightly from the moisture. The composition places the megaphone near the left third line, anchoring the heavy, waterlogged materials against the pale, weathered masonry of the public square.
