Racing Catamaran Heeling in Foggy New York Harbor

Morning mist rests on the water surface near the harbor mouth as a white racing catamaran leans sharply to starboard. Early spring light breaks through the fog in a narrow band, catching the wet hull and rigging with a sharp rim of gold against the deep gray shadows. Raindrops ripple the dark water, creating small concentric circles around the bow. The sails are taut and white, against the steel-gray sky. A distant bridge silhouette fades into the haze while the boat's deck glistens with fresh moisture. The vessel cuts through the choppy waves, leaving a frothy white wake that trails behind the angled hull. The water near the bow reflects the pale sky, while the shadowed side of the boat absorbs the dim light.
