Processional Float Workshop After Rain

Sodium-vapor orange light spills across a wooden trestle table inside a shrine lined with paper lanterns in Puerto La Cruz. The air remains heavy with low-hanging clouds visible through the open eaves, while raindrops rest on the wet floorboards. A processional float, draped in wet fabrics and unfinished gold leaf, rests beside the table. The wooden frame of a doorway creates a natural border, framing the scene within the structure. Shadows stretch long across the damp wood, and the lanterns glow softly against the deepening blue twilight. one drop of water slides slowly down the edge of a carved wooden pillar.
