Poultry Crate Stack in Sardinian Winter Twilight

Indigo twilight settles over a Sardinian ranch corral while gray daylight fades into the background. A tall stack of galvanized metal poultry crates stands centrally, secured with coarse rope and reinforced by rubber rims. Dry straw, crumpled paper, and distinct rubber pieces cover the ground beneath the metal structure. A fine haze of dust or steam hangs suspended above the pens, catching soft light reflected off nearby water. The cold, smooth metal surfaces contrast with the rough, warm texture of the straw. Behind the stack, the dark outline of the corral fence merges with the deepening blue sky. One strand of rope hangs loosely from the top crate, its frayed fibers distinct against the smooth metal edge.
