Pigeons at Dawn Light

A cluster of gray pigeons huddles together on the wet stone sill of a traditional Lyon balcony, their feathers dampened by the heavy mist. The pale morning light reflects off the slick surface of the parapet, highlighting the subtle iridescence on the birds' necks and wings. Below the railing, the blurred shapes of distant buildings fade into the gray haze, showing the isolation of this small perch. One bird turns its head sharply, its dark eye catching a faint glint of the diffuse daylight.
