Paramotor Flying Over Sunflower Field Rain in along a switchback approach in Central African Republic

Paramotor Flying Over Sunflower Field Rain

by Wanda Rice

Vertical sheets of rain fall across a golden field of sunflowers under a late afternoon sky. A paramotor with its fabric wing glides low above the crops, its reflection doubling the scene in a large, dark puddle on the muddy ground. Bright tropical light illuminates the wet petals and the white fabric of the wing. Raindrops ripple the water surface, distorting the mirrored image of the pilot and the machine. The heavy downpour turns the dry earth into a slick, reflective surface that shows the playful movement of the aircraft. Dark clouds gather above while the sun breaks through, casting sharp highlights on the water and the yellow blooms.
