Light drizzle coats the chain-link fence running along the edge of the frame, water beading on the rusted metal links. Behind the mesh, an open fashion lookbook rests against a weathered concrete harbor wall near Japantown. Early summer dawn light skims across the scene from the side, highlighting the heavy wool texture of the outerwear pages. The gray concrete surface shows signs of salt and wind erosion, against the deep navy fabric in the magazine. Raindrops slide down the glossy cover, blurring the model's image slightly. Water drips from the fence links onto the magazine pages, curling the corners of the paper.
