Bright noon light flattens the sky into a heavy, wet overcast that presses down on a wooden pier beside Tabora. A centered figure stands before a mirror ringed with glowing makeup bulbs, wearing structured outerwear that catches the wind. The fabric ripples aggressively against the rigid frame of the mirror. White gulls hover low over the water, their wings stiff against the gusts. The mirror reflects the gray water and the back of the model, doubling the presence of the heavy coats. The bulbs cast a cool, artificial halo on the wet wood planks. One strap of the coat snaps taut against the wind, marking the tension of the moment.
