A shallow puddle mirrors the blurred legs of commuters crossing a rain-slicked corner in Aarhus. Steam rises from nearby grates, curling into the cold night air beside a glass bus shelter fogged with condensation. Lighthouse-beam light sweeps across the wet asphalt, slicing through the darkness and illuminating the rhythmic movement of pedestrians. The reflection distorts the vibrant neon signs into streaks of blue and red, merging with the dark silhouettes of the city. Puddles ripple slightly under the weight of footsteps, showing the fragmented glow of streetlamps. The edge of a rubber boot steps into the water, breaking the neon streaks into jagged, shimmering lines that fade into the shadows.
