Moonlit Alpine Lake Reflecting Stars Near Thimphu

Cold starlight washes over a frozen alpine lake surface near Thimphu during the pre-dawn hours. Dramatic, heavy clouds drift across the sky, their dark undersides catching faint illumination from a sweeping beam of light that cuts through the night. The water acts as a mirror, duplicating the scattered stars and the luminous band above. Ice crystals line the shore, white and brittle against the deep blue of the lake. The light source creates a sharp, bright arc that contrasts with the surrounding darkness, highlighting the texture of the moving clouds. The reflection remains undisturbed, showing the celestial display with perfect clarity. A thin rim of frost glows faintly along the water's edge where the light touches the ice.
