Moon and Minaret in Stained Glass Chapel

Deep inside the Nouakchott chapel, a crescent moon and minaret projection from a stained glass window dominates the view. String lights drape across the upper rafters, casting warm points of yellow against the cool blues and purples of the glass. Polished stone floors reflect these small highlights, creating a shimmering path toward the altar. The frame within a frame of the window arch separates the celestial projection from the dark interior. Early spring is hinted at by the fresh green vines climbing the exterior wall visible through the glass. A sharp line of gold trim on the wooden door frame anchors the composition.
