Mica Flakes Glinting in Split Seed Pod

Cool blue twilight washes the interior of a split seed pod resting on a granite slab. Sharp, silver mica flakes embedded in the stone surface catch the dimming city light, creating tiny, intense points of reflection. Fine dust particles hang suspended in the faint shafts of light, visible against the darkening background. The foreground remains softly out of focus, drawing attention to the crystalline textures of the mica and the rough, organic split of the seed pod. Behind the specimen, the blurred glow of Montpellier streetlights begins to emerge, against the cool, shadowed tones of the indoor stone and plant material. One glint of light reflects off the jagged edge of a mineral fragment.
