Mexico City Evening Scene

Summer evening light spills across a crowded balcony in Roma Norte, illuminating a patchwork of drying laundry and potted cacti. A pair of worn leather slippers sits abandoned near the doorframe, next to a rusted metal magazine rack holding dog-eared comics. The scene is alive with the clutter of daily life: a chipped blue watering jug rests on a concrete ledge, while a faded deck chair leans against the railing, its fabric bleached by the sun. Neon signs from the street below cast a pink glow on the rough stucco walls, highlighting the texture of the linen fringe on a nearby tablecloth.
