Late Afternoon Potter Shaping Clay Wheel Hangzhou

Indirect light from a late afternoon sky washes over pale kitchen walls, creating a soft glow that highlights the motion of a potter working at a spinning wheel. Seen from behind, the figure leans forward, hands gripping wet, dark grey clay with vigorous, rapid movements that blur the edges of the rising form.
