Ceramic Mug in London

One ceramic mug rests on a wet stone windowsill, its white surface reflecting the dull grey light of the London dusk. Light rain streaks down the glass pane behind it, blurring the view of the darkened street outside into soft vertical lines. Condensation gathers in small droplets on the cool rim, mixing with the fresh rainwater that has collected in the shallow depression of the sill. The mug casts a faint, diffuse shadow against the textured stone, at the base of the object in the immediate damp environment.
