Orange low-angle light washes over the weathered hull of a junk boat resting in a remote Catalan harbor. The vessel's peeling paint and rusted metal fittings catch the harsh glow of early spring sunset. Dramatic clouds stack high above, their dark underbellies against the fiery sky. A diagonal composition slices through the frame, tilting the horizon and showing the boat's precarious position against the water. Salt stains mark the wooden deck, while the choppy sea reflects the intense orange hues. Rough textures stand out against the smooth, dark water. One rusted chain hangs loosely from the bow, catching the last light.
