The dog faces forward with a broad muzzle and triangular ears set high on its head, characteristic of the breed. A thin rim of pale light outlines the dog's back and the edges of its ruff against the darker background. The ground shows scattered fallen leaves in muted browns and yellows, indicating early autumn in the Finnish city of Turku.
