Akita Standing in Erzurum Garden Late Summer Morning

A sturdy Akita stands alert on a patch of worn grass near a low stone wall that marks the garden edge. The dog's thick double coat displays a mix of cream and reddish-tan hues, with the distinct ruff around the neck catching the soft, diffused light of an overcast late morning. Its triangular ears are pricked forward, and the broad muzzle shows the breed's characteristic square shape. The background remains uncluttered, showing hints of green foliage and a simple wooden fence typical of the region. Low-hanging gray clouds fill the sky above, casting an even, shadowless illumination across the scene. The ground is dry with scattered pebbles, and the dog's paws are planted firmly on the earth. A small patch of wildflowers grows near the stone border.
