Steel-blue twilight settles over the base of a monumental stone staircase in Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong. A large hand-woven tapestry depicting a hunting scene hangs against the wet masonry, its earthy reds and browns against the cool gray stone. Fine rain creates a shimmering sheen on the fabric's thick wool fibers, dripping from the woven edges. The wet pavement reflects the dim ambient light, mirroring the tapestry's lower border. Raindrops bead on the stone steps leading upward, while the intricate threads of the hunting figures remain sharp despite the damp air. Water traces the deep grooves of the stone architecture beside the hanging textile.
