Hop Bines Climbing Poles on Desk

Honey-colored window light floods a polished writing desk in Rajkot, casting copper-toned shadows across the wet season foliage. Green hop bines twist upward around slender wooden poles arranged in tight rows. Fresh leaves display visible veins and glistening moisture where the light strikes them. Small, bright highlights gleam on the smooth, reflective surface of the varnished wood. The vines curl in unpredictable loops beside the rigid structure of the poles, creating a miniature vertical garden that fills the frame. A droplet of water rests on a leaf tip at the edge, catching the glow of the setting sun against the dark wood grain.
