Honeyed Evening Light in Thrissur School Corridor

Honey-colored light floods the narrow school corridor, filtering through windows obscured by the humid rain of the season. Rows of gray metal lockers line the left wall, their painted surfaces catching the warm glow. A bright red exit sign glows above, its reflection stretching across the glossy finish of the nearest locker door like a smear of blood. The floor tiles reflect the soft, amber hues, while deep, quiet shadows pool along the base of the walls where the light cannot reach. The shallow depth of field blurs the distant rows of lockers into soft shapes, keeping the focus tight on the immediate texture of the metal and the sharp contrast of the red sign against the warm ambient light.
