Havana Wooden Peg Rail

A worn wooden peg rail hangs against the peeling lime plaster of a Havana balcony, illuminated by the warm glow of streetlights. The rough-hewn wood shows deep scratches and faded varnish, against the crumbling paint that reveals layers of past colors beneath. Below the rail, a rusted iron railing frames the dark street where shadows of palm fronds dance in the mixed city light. One brass hook catches the ambient glow, standing out as the sharpest point of detail in the dim evening air.
