Street Scene at Twilight in Havana

A weathered wooden stool rests against a sun-warmed stone wall in Old Havana as twilight deepens into blue. The textured surface of the colonial masonry catches the last ambient light, highlighting its rough plaster and cracks. Beside the stool, a piece of hammered metal, perhaps from a nearby balcony railing or gate, reflects the fading sky with a dull sheen. A rusted padlock hangs loosely on a nearby iron door, securing the entrance to a narrow alleyway. The street is empty of people, showing the quiet end of the day. Shadows lengthen across the cobblestones, blending the architectural details with the encroaching night in this authentic Cuban setting.
